Now we are going to look at Relative Pronouns. A relative pronoun is a pronoun which usually introduces a subordinate clause. It is usually introduced by words such as, who which, that.
E.G. The man who is a tenor sang the opera. The relative clause tells us something about its antecedent. And an antecedent is a fancy word for what the relative clause is trying to shed a bit of light upon. So in the above example, who is a tenor, is the relative clause. The antecedent is man. Which man? The man who is a tenor.
The relative clause will agree in gender and number with its antecedent. Its case will depend on how the relative pronoun is used in the sentence.

How do you learn them? You have to memorize them?
